The true story of Saint Margaret Clitherow of York, otherwise known as "The Pearl of York." She was born in England in 1555 and converted to the Catholic Faith in 1574 after she married John Clitherow. A devoted wife and mother, she was also a holy woman of the Reformation era, and amid persecution of Catholics, arranged Masses, hid priests and kept the Catholic Faith alive in her community. For this holy cause she was arrested, imprisoned and martyred.
